Design Principles
Simple Page exists to make publishing on the decentralized web simple and permanent. These principles guide every decision.
Ownership
You own your content. Not metaphorically — cryptographically. Your content is tied to your ENS domain. You control the keys. No one else can edit, delete, or restrict what you publish. Forking and remixing are possible without losing authorship.
Simplicity
Publishing should not require technical expertise. A clean markdown editor. One-click publishing to your ENS domain. Templates to start quickly. If something feels complex, it's a bug.
Permanence
Every update leaves a cryptographic record on Ethereum. Your publishing history is tamper-proof. Anyone can verify when and how your site changed. Version history cannot be altered retroactively.
Decentralization
No single point of failure. No gatekeepers. Content is distributed across peers, not served from one server. Names are secured on Ethereum, not leased from DNS registrars. The project is open source and community-driven.
Censorship Resistance
No one should be able to silence your voice. Content is stored on a peer-to-peer network. Domains are owned on-chain, not rented. If a gateway goes down, you can route around it.
